My daughter tracked me down today, thanks to cell phones! she wanted us all to go to the park! she comes up with the best ideas. So that is just what we did, me, hubby, kota and daughter. And it was such a beautimus day. beautimus meaning better than beautiful! Daughter brought her boyfriends sister's dog. A yappy little chihuahua. sorry jenn, but this dog would bark every time I looked at him. LOL Me and daughter sat on the bench while hubby swung kota on the big tire swing. This guy then walked up with this 'dog'. It was more like a wooly mammoth. So I had to ask him, what kind is it? He said, st. bernard, chesepeake retriever, black lab, and many others. OMG what a beautiful creature! And friendly! she had almost golden eyes. Yep, I had to let her slobber me. So he sat on the next bench and talked to me while daughter took her dog home. But I began to wonder about this guy. I was thinking, what is he some kind of child predator? brings his big beautiful friendly dog to the park to entice the little children? haha. Then his wife came over who turns out to have a son in kota's karate class. so her husband took their daughter to the swings and me and her chatted. It was like instant friendship. She practically told me her life story, and I told her mine. I believe I have a new friend! She is probably a few years younger than me, she looks about mid 30's. We had a blast! It was funny cuz she said my daughter looks like me. I had to tell her that she is really my stepdaughter. But that yes, she also acts alot like me. *grins*
On the way home we stopped at the drug store. I got a new beach chair for tanning and some tanning oil, no spf. I don't burn, I tan. So I don't really need the protection.
I love days like today! where you spend it with family just hanging out. And it was nice to make a new friend also.
Tomorrow I will be out in the back yard tanning. Oh I didn't tell you, while I was at mom's, hubby cleaned the kitchen!!!!!
