Woke up with a bad headache this morning. I think its the weather change coming. Supposed to be windy and rainy later. So I called out of work. I only had a short shift today so I didn't feel guilty. After taking Kota to school I went back to bed, and slept for almost 4 hours. I feel somewhat better, the headache is gone but now I am groggy.
This seems to be the week for hearing from long lost friends. I talked to a couple on the computer and had an email from another. Its so good to get back in touch! The last several months I had really withdrawn from friends. I didn't want to share my bad times with them. I should have known better though. I got some lectures about friends are there in bad times as well as good. lol
We really have to finish up at our old house. My winter clothes are still over there and I think I am going to need some long sleeved shirts soon. Hubby has been working alot lately though. Maybe tonight we can swing by there and grab the rest of our stuff. I almost dread going there anymore. Its like revisiting a bad dream.
Our new landlord called hubby on monday to see if we were having any problems. HTubby told him just a couple minor things. the faucet in the tub leaks and needs to be replaced. the landlord said its not minor if it doesn't work right. He is really a nice guy and has helped us out immensely.
I think this weekend I will get some pumpkins for the front porch and maybe a cute scarecrow. Kota wants to be a ninja this year for Halloween. That does not surprise me. Rather than buy a cheap walmart costume, I will throw together my own costume. Hubby and his Dad are great at ideas and making things work. When Kota was dracula one year, my father in law made this stake thing that we could strap to kota's chest. It looked really cool, even had the fake blood around it. LOL
Time for more coffee to get rid of this grogginess.
