Well I have been at walmart for a month now and I still enjoy it. Oh sure, my knees hurt by the end of my shift and I am tired. But I love interacting with my customers. And I get alot of compliments about my friendliness. Yes you heard that right, me the extreme shy person really does talk to her customers. I even got a recipe today from an older lady. I love it! There is another lady who started the same day as me. She is going to college and working part time. She is disabled, in a wheelchair but you have to give her alot of credit. She is an amazing young woman! I wished her a happy one month anniversary today. She knows I am extremely silly.
Last night me and hubby had to pick up a few things. We went to big lots. We found a set of dishes for $28. Now wait till you hear this! its a 72 piece set. That is a service for 8, with glasses and silverware also! What a steal! I might even go get another set. Have I mentioned both hubby and I have big families? They aren't fancy dishes, white with a blue stripe. But heck for that price who can argue over design?
Have you tried orthotics in your shoes? Foot docs do them if you have ins. but you can get them from Dr. Scholls too. Nurse shoes, well made walking shoes with laces or anything with good support should help too. Teachers know these things 'cause we're on our feet all day too.
