congrats John! I have been so tempted to buy one of those steam cleaners but have been afraid they won't live up to the hype. Our house is all wood floors except for the kitchen and laundry area.

I loved the book The Help,not so much the movie. excellant story! I am worried this mild winter is a precursor to an unbearable summer. that's usually how it works. not looking forward to this election year at all!

my brother in law had cancer of the lymph nodes, went through chemo and all that. he is cancer free now for years. I don't know all the details because our family is weird. they don't discuss things. continued healing for bobby.

I too blame the parents for children turning into bullies, they learn the language from their parents. Dakota is one of those kids who everybody likes, very easygoing and friendly. I guess bullies see that as a weakness.

sorry about your haircut! I hate when a stylist does not listen to what you really want! This past summer I had taken in a picture of how i wanted my hair cut. I came out looking like a man with military haircut!

your statement about the psychological need to bring order to your life, wow! I have been going through this house, trashing everything we don't need or use! I have to stop now as I have way too much trash to put out for pick up day. But that really makes sense to me. I have alot I am dealing with right now and things that are out of my control. have a great saturday!

my elkhound was a crazy shedder. her hair would come out in clumps two times a year. once before summer and then before winter. it was the softest fur and I would have to take her outside to brush. i used to joke that we could make another dog from all the hair she shed.
