Its day two of our heat wave with excessive heat warnings. Hubby put the a/c in last night so we would be able to sleep. I am thinking we should set the temp higher in the day to conserve what electricity we can. Yesterday I could have taken a shower every hour.
Hubby had to go on a call yesterday and took Kota with him. I watched a movie called Reservation Road with Joaquin Phoenix. It was kind of good. Joaquin plays a college professor whose young son is killed by a hit and run driver.
But the best movie was National Treasure 2. It was excellant! I love those types of movies! During the movie hubby had another call. Someones gas tank was leaking, which is an emergency call. Well he was only gone an hour and was home. I knew he couldn't have made it there and back in that time. He said he had a message while driving, a friend came and picked up there tank. Well this really puzzled hubby so he called the people. It was a tank to a grill!!!!!! Good grief. He had a genuine gas leak earlier in the day. An elderly lady and she was very scared. Well when they had filled her tank they filled it too much and the propane was venting off. Poor lady, she must have been terrified her house would explode. but she was distracted by kota being there, bringing him ice tea and cookies. lol
So today it is definitely cleaning day since it is at least comfortable in the house now. I really need to talk hubby into getting me a clothesline today and putting it up!
