I am off today and tomorrow. I have done nothing today and its my right, isn't it?? Caught up on a little sleep this morning. Except for the telemarketers calling. Boy they sure get a new number fast. And it takes 30 days for that no call thing to take affect!
The weather has been so nice. Getting up to the 80's and cooling off at night. I would prefer a little cooler in the day though. It is fall after all. The birds are all singing today. Which reminds me, I need some bird feeders! We have alot of birds around here, not like my old house where we only had black birds. Although I would like to go back to my old neighborhood and kidnap the mourning doves. I loved hearing them in the mornings, such a peaceful sound.
Me and Kota have not been to tae kwon do in almost a month. Things just got crazy busy around here and I spent most of the month being exhausted. I think we are going tonight to class. We missed the belt ceremony due to Kota having that stomach flu. But we will get our new belts the next time we go in. And it will be sort of special as we will be the only ones getting them, as everyone else has gotten theirs. My friend John, who works at walmart also, begged me to come back to class. He had been to some training seminars and learned some new 'torture' tactics. John is close to being a black belt and usually is the one training our classes. He is a fun guy but a master at torture. lol
Kota is just an amazing kid sometimes. yesterday was just one of those days he made me feel so proud of him. He didn't do anything out of the ordinary, he was just his usual sensitive caring funny little guy. He is going to be a ninja for halloween. I found a great costume online and also a place to order his fake weapons. I checked the schedule at work and I am off halloween!
thats why I don't complain much about my schedule. I seem to get the really good days off. They know I will be there on the weekends working my butt off so I guess this is my reward. I would hate to miss trick or treating with my little guy! Me and hubby take him out and we have so much fun together. Sometimes kota's sissy comes too, if she isn't working.
Time to try and get a hold of the stupid bus contractor. Yep, the bus still isn't picking him up in the morning. The few times I have been able to call, the phone just rings and rings. GRRRRRRRRRRR
Hope you'll feel like going back to your class soon. You have had a lot on your plate, especially adjusting to a new work-school-time schedules, but you really seemed to enjoy it. You are the tae kwon do mybloggers queen!
