the universe has really been playing games with me. It started when we had to take out a personal loan because our bank totally screwed us. They were charging us overdraft fees when there was plenty of money in the bank to cover our deductions. I am working on getting that taken care of, but we have a new bank.
Anyway, we got the loan last week. We had some bills to take care of first and then we were going to let the rest sit in savings. Monday night the dryer the breaks. Also Monday the pool filter pump quit working. We got a new dryer immediately, the pool pump will wait a little bit. We have been battling the pool for a couple weeks now, algae!
Work has been ok except for the slacker I sit next to. I didn't want to have to do it but I had to report her for playing on facebook. This was no check in during breaks. This was all day playing games and having papers spread out on her desk to look busy. So the boss has a meeting, no playing on facebook. Now she uses her phone to play. LOL It is quite funny and irritating at the same time. I think she is in for a surprise as we are getting a new program that will show the bosses how long it takes us to process something. LOL wonder how she will get around that.
Dakota has to go to summer school! I know, that's crazy! But he really hated his english class, too much writing. lol so he basically gave up half way through the year. No amount of bribery, punishment, warnings of failing could induce him to get this work done. So now he has to pay the penalty. He plans on playing football this coming year in school so that will be an incentive to keep his grades up!
Mr. Lucky Cat is one weird cat. He does not like any form of fishy cat food! He prefers chicken! And he will beg like a dog if we are eating chicken.
We have had some really bad storms here over the last couple of weeks. Dakota stays home by himself now but when the storms come, he runs next door to our neighbors. They are an older couple, a few years older than me, and they are the nicest people. I am going to bake them something this weekend as a thank you!

My computer imploded last week, a major financial crisis, so I hear ya. Another budget redo. Sigh.... Best wishes to Kota in summer school. He'll find his motivation if he wants to play football. Hang in there!

My old cat loved his Whiskers , put a few in your pocket and you suffer him getting them out ---OUCH LOL
