So Far Today

I have been a busy bee today, pretending its warm outside. So far I have weeded my flower bed with kota's help. Put down some black trash bags to kill the viney grass growing there. I dug in banana peels to my roses, it really makes them grow good! Then took Kota for a walk around the 'block'. We don't really have blocks out in the country. Our block was 8 tenths of a mile. The wind was blowing hard and it was not fun when it was against us, my ears were cold. But it felt good to get out there and besided kota was getting bored. Now hubby has a call and he is taking the boy with him. Hmmm, maybe time to watch a movie.
Normally I don't do much on Sundays, its our day to relax. But this spring fever has a hold of me and I want to get the yard looking nice this year. I need to start my compost pile again. That is some good stuff for gardening!
Tomorrow is back to routine, school starts back up and my little buddy will be in school all day. I think tomorrow we will go to the library after school. I have finished the 3 books I took out.
If I think of more exciting stuff I will blog again.

I, too, have spring fever! It's been raining today, which will help melt the last of the snow. Help me pray for no more snow, Mary!

I love your "non-exciting" posts, Mary. They are some of my favorites!I wish that I could catch Spring Fever...I don't feel like doing much of anything this morning. Want to meet half way for a cup of coffee?

One of my friends had a compost pile. Believe it or not, it was the first one I had ever seen. She had a great garden because of it though.

I LOVE PEONY'S--my second favorite flower--Bird of Paradise are the first (if only they had an aroma!) When you send Kota down to me pack a few peonies with him!!!

I have spring fever, but the weather is refusing to cooperate! I thought we would have sunshine today, but only rain and more rain! I hope the rest of your day has been a relaxing one.

My Mom sprinkles egg shells around her newly planted flowers. I'll have to tell her to try banana peels this year.

You have been one busy lady. I feel so lazy after reading about your day. All I did was go to work for a few hours.
