Ah, what a nice weekend it was. The weather kind of detiorated today but thats ok. Sundays are for relaxing and I took a little nap with the beagle. I did weed one flower bed and my tulips are almost ready to burst forth in color. I played catch with Kota and the beagle. Playing with the beagle you really need gloves, to avoid the slobber! Hubby made a delicious dinner and its always a nice break for me when he cooks. Although I do take care of the clean up afterwards.

Daughter stopped by last night. She had on the cutest shorts! Bermuda shorts, a blue plaid color. She just looked so cute in them! But she would look good in anything, she just has the perfect body for nice clothes! She had to go home to finish up some homework but its always nice to have her over to visit.

I don't think I mentioned friday at moms on my blog. Friday was when it got really warm here. Well we got to moms around 5 that evening. We sat outside in the shade and joked about how soon we would be complaining it was too hot. Mom has a lovely deck that we can sit out on and just enjoy nature. Saturday morning thats where we had our coffee. So peaceful, listening to the birds and the world slowly waking up.

It is a good feeling to let your soul just live and appreciate life and all that you have. The beauty of life amazes me. There was a rainbow yesterday and I know there is a scientific explanation for them. But I like to look at them as God's promise of hope. After the rain and storms, He gives us beautiful colors blazing across the sky.
