Awesome things are happening! First a big thank you to mmmhollywould. I keep telling you people how awesome she is. Well she was on a mission last night, mending bridges. She wrote about it on her latest blog. To Holly, I say thank you for being the wise woman that you are. To Texastar, Jenn, I say thank you for being open to mending our bridges. I feel alot of hurt and bad feelings were resolved last night. Never underestimate the power of a chat room. Elfie, I am sorry you had to leave as you were having horrible weather. Did you see that old woman go by on her bike??
Then today, kota had karate class. We didn't go last night so I thought he should go today. He decided to stay for both classes. There were only 3 other students there. Me and hubby left and went shopping. We thought Kota would open up more without mom and dad being there. We came back at the end of class. Master Tony was having Kota teach him the different moves. I forget what it is called, but there are 20 movements. They were working on the first 10. I was amazed at Kota's performance, the confidence! They did it several times over. And by the end Kota had the moves down! Master Tony gave him a high five and told him he was awesome. I remember the moves, so we will be practising in the back yard. I am amazed at the progress they can make from one class to the next. I think it really helped to take two classes today and also that there were so few people there. He was able to get more one on one instruction. They also worked on kicks and he is getting better at those. Next week they have a competition locally and we are going to go watch it. I think it will be good for Kota to see what he is working towards. Awesome!
