My Mental Health Day ...

Friday was my mental health day.   So I thought I would let everyone know how I spent it...
Was up and out of bed by 7:30...out the door by 8:00.
Went and filled up with gas...$50.00
Had to go to Wal-Mart to get tires for my car.   I hate Wal-mart but I'm also poor and they are cheaper than anybody else around here.   So I spend about an hour in Wal-Mart.   Got two new front tires, and some basics...$315.00.
Headed to Kroger to go some grocery shopping and to pick up some meds.   Total $75.00
Left the grocery store and decided to see if I could get my hair cut a day early.   I had an appointment for Saturday, but figured since I was already in town I would see if they could fit me in.   They could...so got my hair, cut...highlighted...   Walked out of there $65.00 dollars lighter.
By this time it was after 1:00 and I was starving, so I  dropped by Taco Bell and got some tacos....  $8.00.   And then I headed home.
I made it home by 1:45...ate some lunch and contimplated how much of a dent I made in my budget.
Now I'm poorer but enjoying being off....LOL

Yikes, busy and a bit expensive...but, gee, you know what? You're worth it and a whole lot more! Keep enjoying yourself! I hope you made the most of the entire weekend and, when it's over, make it a point to keep enjoying yourself!

I'd need a mental health day after all that
Gas prices are crazy..ugh. At least you got some work done on yourself. That's a good thing.

Even though a lot of money was spent, sounds like a good day all in all. Hope the rest of the weekend is even better!

Well, it always happens to make a girl feel better when she has a new hair style and besides it is cooler short. Just don't add up what you spent, it is depressing.

Honey you don't have a budget anymore.

Well it seems that it cost money just to wake up every day. My mental health days are very similar, I get just relaxed enough to handle the break down I experience when I balance my funds.
