It has been a crazy few days around here. Seems like everyone who walks in the door has some kind of attitude problem. Maybe it's just that time of year...I don't know. But I've had my fill of it....I'm taking off Friday for a mental health day.
My new computer has some serious issues. Started off by me trying to update my windows. My computer tells me I don't have an authentic version. So I get on the phone to where I bought it, and they hand me over to the Geek Squad...and the Geek Squad hands me over to Gateway...and Gateway hands me over to Microsoft....and we all know how much I love being sent from person to person.
I spend over 4 hours last night on the phone with Microsoft. Would anybody care to venture a guess to how many people I talked to there?????? Any takers????? I think it turned out to at least 4...maybe more...I gave up counting. The gentleman I finally ended up with, I think I just confused him....but he did try his best. He finally just ended up having to reinstall windows completely. Now I have to reinstall everything else. I did call the store this morning to make sure if I reinstall anything it wouldn't effect the warranty or anything...and according to the guy I spoke to....another Geek squader...he said no. So guess what I'll be doing tonight.
Man, Microsoft has a great deal going there...they give you three options...either take the computer back to where you bought it, go on their site and try to figure out the problem....or for live help...hand them over a credit card number, cuz you won't get a live person to talk to unless you do....No wonder Bill Gates is a gazillionaire...he's got us poor suckers by the balls...*snorts*
Tomorrow night we have graduation from my Leadership class...we get our pictures taken and a nice meal. Ken is coming too, he's going to take off early and spend the evening with us..
Like I said I'm taking off Friday....and Monday is a holiday...so I'm off 4 whole days....I'm happy about that.
Happy Hump day everybody....so go out and enjoy the hump part...*grins*
I never get anyone on the geek squad who speaks decent English...my sympathy.

Weird? I've spent many hours trying to figure things out like that?
My kids are with their Dad this weekend, so it's just hubby and me. Three days to do whatever the heck we want. Can't wait! Enjoy yours!!
