Today Tells the Tale

It is 4:45 and I am wide awake and ready to go to the polls as soon as they open at seven. Oklahoma will go Republican.
There isn't much doubt about that and I am ashamed to say that race will play a factor in the end result. Most of us are of Southern descent and were raised by prejudiced parents and grandparents. As for me and my children, we will be voting for Barack OBama because he is clearly the best, best educated and best qualified man. We also like Joe Biden even if he does open mouth and insert foot quite a lot.

We had a great time with the little girls on Saturday. They are a lot of fun and love to go shopping at Walmart. We made them happy with a huge Bratz doll for Ashley and some little pet shop animals and a video pokimon game for Adrienne. Ted is Adrienne's hero because he found her a gold pokimon card and NO ONE ELSE has one. I took Ashley cupcakes with pink icing in lieu of birthday cake.

I also took Ellie and Bobby some of Laura's bean soup to try and they loved it. Yesterday, at the commissary, I found a package of fourteen different kinds of beans for bean soup so I bought them several packages. I think that this is a new item and I hope they continue to carry it.

We finally got Ted's motorcycle to the shop and I can already tell the Honda dealership is a big rip off. They require a deposit before they will even start on it and their prices are exorbitant but we don't have a choice. He needs a new stater which is too complicated for him to install. As of now, we have five vehicles and some of them must go.

It's fun to figure out what kinds of beans are in those mixtures. I got really excited about making my own combinations a few years ago and did a lot of research about bean varieties on the Internet.

I really had a cause to complain because the voting wasn't private. Five of us sat at a table with no shields but then that is Asher, Oklahoma for you. There was a long line at seven a. m.

No matter what.their will always be a race factor.
Whether your from the South or North.
Obama is the man to get us out of the mess that George Bush did.
This man Bush is the worst of all worst President that we ever had.
Obama is going to have a landslide.
McCain can go home and collect his SS and medicare.
Did he ever find out how many houses that he has.
Tomorrow,is going to be a glorious day.
When our man wins.

It's Tuesday and I am listening to Morning Joe on MSNBC and he is a conservative. As I posted, MSNBC gives a lot of time to the other side and they are to be commended but sometimes I can't listen. Anyway, at this point, they are just recycling old news. The Rev. Wright scurrilous ad is being aired a lot. McCain could stop it if he had any integrity left. I feel like hiding under the covers until it is over.
