Sunday Dreaming

This is one of those lazy, rainy days where you just want to snuggle with your husband and the cat while the dog stretches out at the foot of the bed.

We have appreciated this silvery day and have caught up on reading, the paper and bill paying. Speaking of bill paying, I have noticed that every magazine has articles about how to cut your budget but Vogue and Harper's Bazaar.
It is too bad that the Republican Presidental Candidate doesn't even know how many houses he owns. Although I am for honeybugg for Prez, I may have to vote for Obama as a last resort.

Seriously, I would be more at ease with a President who knew what it is like to struggle and go without. I realize O'Bama is a millionaire but he wasn't always which should give him a good grounding in what it means to decide between food and a haircut.

We will be getting all the politics we can take tomorrow.
I, for one, am looking forward to it. Now, I think I will just go back to bed and day dream. Jeri

We had a day like that a couple of days ago, then back to getting the end of summer chores done.

McCain is too old. He's have lost touch with the majority of Americans, that generation after the baby boomer's children - they're old enough to vote, well educated, and sick of the same sh*t, different politician crap.

Well, since I do value the soundness of our economy, I guess I'll vote for Obama, too. I think that Biden, no matter what one has thought of him, is okay. I didn't used to like him, but I read a little (maybe all propaganda) but I feel more reassured about him. Wish I had a lazy rainy day. Ours is a lazy HOT day! (I always look forward to the ccnventions!)

I get a lot of anti-Obama email and some of it is nothing but lightly disguised racism. I would have voted for Rudy, but since he's not an option, it will have to be Obama. McCain is just too far out of it...and not because of the houses. I think it was that comment awhile ago about the streets of Iraq being as safe as a shopping mall that did him in for me.
