We are enjoying the fruit of the tomato plants. There is
enough for my family and they are much better than the
kind you get in stores that are picked green and ripened off
the vine. I planted Early Girl and love them for their early
yield but next time I am going to plant two varieties that
do well in the sun, Arkansas Traveler and Cherokee.
Bobby's illness is a cycle of hope and despair. After showing
improvement in his last scan, the tumors are growing again.
Not only is he my beloved child, he is also a wonderful
friend. A world without him in it looks very bleak.
Ted is losing a little more cognition every day but I am
grateful for what he has. I think the Aricept and Namenda
have helped a lot and have slowed down the progress. He also
needs hip surgery and we need to take care of that ASAP as
he is in a lot of pain.
I try to take care of myself, get out as much as I can and
plan little outings that Ted and I can both enjoy. My yard
is a great pleasure and the back porch is an oasis.
Right now, I am sorting clothes for United Cerebral Palsy.
We have a lot to give away. I also like to donate items
to Veit Nam Veterans. My daughter works for UCP and they
now help all disabilities.
