Rest Stop

The Canadian Geese are here on their way back North. We have three ponds and they make rest stops here back and forth. I love to watch them and listen to them honk.

Ted has the flu and he is miserable. He certainly keeps me hopping when he is sick. I haven't had much reading or computer time for the last couple of days. He has time to think up all kinds of errands for me to run. I do so hope I won't catch it. We are in the midst of an epidemic.

The weather has been great and I have been able to walk every day this week.

It's fun seeing the geese migrating. Some winters in Colo they would forget to go further south, it being probably warmer than Canada for them. They don't seem to be around Las Vegas, although I have seen them walking down the middle of the main street in downtown Reno.

Hmmm, we don't have geese here. We have pigeons. And, you are correct. Men have a way of thinking up so many different errands... even when they're well! Do NOT catch it!

Did you take pictures? We have them down here during the winter. No shortage of wildlife in FL!

Canadian geese have taken up permanent residence in most ponds around here. Their squawking on the pond across the road from me wakes me up at night.

That would be neat to hear and see Jeri. I am so sorry that Ted is sick. I hope he gets well soon. It is still 75 here at this time of night or morning. We got up to almost 90 today.

Those geese woke me up last night. (DH insists on the window being wide open all night.) I don't understand why they have to honk while they're flying. It's like they're saying, "GET OUT OF THE WAY! WE'RE COMIN' THROUGH!"
