I have been glued to "Bridge of Sighs", by Russel Russo every spare minute on Friday and Saturday. It was utterly consuming and the best book I have read in ages. It is so good that it interferes with real life and you can't stop worrying about the characters while you get on with your mundane chores.
Libraries should have the book, that is where I got my copy.

If you say so, it must be so! I will venture to my library soon. I usually don't stop there because I spend too much time browsing the books!
