A Must Must Read

I have been glued to "Bridge of Sighs", by Russel Russo every spare minute on Friday and Saturday. It was utterly consuming and the best book I have read in ages. It is so good that it interferes with real life and you can't stop worrying about the characters while you get on with your mundane chores.

Libraries should have the book, that is where I got my copy.
Indulge...you won't be sorry. Jeri

If you say so, it must be so! I will venture to my library soon. I usually don't stop there because I spend too much time browsing the books!

Mr. Tbend's Aunt Pat is reading it right now in large print from the library - I saw it next door yesterday. She brought it all the way from Florida so it must be good. If it wasn't a library book I would see if she would finish it and leave it.

I love books that are so intense that the characters seep into one's everyday life. The last book I read that did that was "A Thousand Splendid Suns". Those two women still haunt me sometimes. I will try this one.
