The guest bath has been such an eyesore. We had new tile
put in and the grout was so light that it looked nasty
shortly after we did it. Today, I marched to Home Depot
and got two bottles of grout paint. The vanity is done
with two coats and the floor has one coat. I will put the
other coat on tomorrow when I am not so tired. It is a
100 percent improvement and well worth the effort.

My fall cleaning is progressing. I had the fireplace cleaned Monday and I am having the carpet cleaned on the
28th. The cleaner guy has said he will take down the
sheers, let me launder them and then put them back up.

I scrubbed the outdoor cushions today and when they dry
will get them stored for the winter. I wanted new outdoor
furniture but I can make what I have go another year.

I still need to seal the travertine floor in our bath
but it is not a huge job. Somehow I am going to work
in window washing.

I hate to rely on other people. Time was when Ted and I
could do everything. However, we can't climb ladders any
more.
