My life consists of a lot of dailyness with more than a
lions share of drama that I could do without. I was telling
the kids how I hated boring and Dakota responded that he
liked it because he could relax and otherwise it was just
one family reunion after another with the kids sleeping on
the floor and the adults getting the beds.

I have been getting the bed for a long time but I have
not forgotten teen age angst. There are bright spots like
learning to drive and your first car but it is tough not
to have a date for the dance.

Hunter, my sixteen year old grand nephew who is six feet tall
and handsome was reduced to tears because all of his friends
have paired off and he doesn't have a girl friend. Our first
thought was that the ball is his court but of course it is
tragic to him.

These teenagers in my life make it much brighter and I wish
them all the best. Most of all, I wish them a healthy self
concept and the determination to wrest their hearts desire
from the life ahead of them.
