Lazy Saturday

I missed out on a gigantic shopathon because I couldn't
bear to go in this heat. I love the girl friend days out.

I seem to spend a lot of time watering grass and flowers and
still they die. My water bill was l22.00 and that is so
hefty. I was rewarded this morning with a giant, shocking
pink gerbera daisy. I don't know how it had the courage
to bloom.

We are trying to keep the air conditioning on 77 and use
our fans more because if the electric grids go out from
excessive use we will be miserable.

Keep on flooding the politicians with e mails. Perhaps
they will realize that they are the servants not the masters
if we keep it up. No more war and no more gridlock!

I really feel sorry for you guys. We have it bad, but not like you. I might run my AC twice a year for a day or two, but it's getting a workout now.

I guess everyone's AC is working overtime. I went out to put out the
trash and the concrete blistered the bottom of my feet.

I am having a lazy Saturday too- when I should be busy. I have so much to do! I keep my thermostat at 82 and run fans if it gets warm. That keeps my electric bill for a nearly 2000 sq. ft. house at about $130 a month.

I had a hundred and twenty two dollar waterbill. My hanky sized front
lawn is green and my flowers are mostly alive. I am using fans in the
bedrooms and bath we don't use. I expect an enourmous electric bill.

It's late morning and 63F here. Tomorrow's high is forecast to be a scorching 82F. I hope I don't melt at the Crafters' Market.

aww, come on, 82 is just barely warm.
