I am so happy that good things are happening in Elkhound and
Teal and Jondude's life and that Laura now has two foxes
instead of one.

Ted has gotten reconciled with one of his brother's after
a seven year estrangement and I am so pleased. He needed
David in order to share their common interests and because
they have always loved each other. It is wonderful for
me because they are my favorite in laws and I love his wife,
Nova. David will help with things Ted can no longer do.

I had my yearly check up and I am in great shape. I have
been going to the same internist for over twenty years and
he always wants to know about my personal life. He said that
I am handling the stress in just the way he would have told
me to. My blood pressure is a little high and we may have to
adjust the medication but no big deal. My cholesterol was
l5l, with high good cholesterol. I realized early on that
I could not obsess over Ted and Bobby and their health so I
have tried to make new friends, exercise, and take better
care of myself. They need a healthy, happy Mom and wife.

I treated myself to a shopping trip and took advantage of
the 65 percent off winter clothes. I bought a Calvin Klein
knit dress in grey trimmed in black with a matching coat.
It is very classic and will go anywhere.

David is going to whack the limbs that I want whacked on
the holly bush today and the men are coming to repair my
cooktop. The holly has been my enemy ever since Ted has
been down because it is too high for me to reach on a step
ladder and I have to trim it.

I made more banana bread for Bobby. When I picked up Ashley
from school yesterday, she was running a fever.

I got circus tickets yesterday. We are letting Ashley and
Adrienne take one friend each. It is the Shrine circus and
it is plenty good enough. They had never been until last
year and they love it. Bobby and Ellie got burned out on
the circus and last year was the first time they ever went.
I think we will go to the early Saturday show because it is
less crowded. That will be the 24th.
