I got up this morning and tried a new hair color, John Frieda's light blonde. It was a big success. Never mind,
mutton dressed as lamb. That is just my way. I can't seem
to reconcile my chronological age to the way I feel inside.
Bobby and I had a long talk about the chemo and the effect it
is having on his body. I wish there was some way to take
away the flu like symptoms. The aching bones are devastating.
We heard from our Texas cruise buddies. They are going to
celebrate their 36th anniversary in April. I wish we could
join them because we had so much fun with them on our cruise
to the Bahamas. They are cruise lovers too.
I made Bobby more chicken soup and a pound cake today and am
hoping that he can hold them down.
Ted and I went to Shake and Steak for a good and mybloggers lunch.
We love the fifties, sixties music. When I was a teenager, the big date was to go to the drive in and be treated to a
hamburger, fries, a malt and a coke. Then we would drag
main until time for the preview at midnight of Sunday's
movie. How innocent was that!!
I had to watch the dancing Golden Retriever again on Fredo's
blog. There is no way I could do that, much less train
Rex. I noticed his tale was wagging all the time. I think
it was a male despite the pinafore because they are prettier. The ugliest dog that I have seen is a G.R. and
a standard poodle mix. He parades past my house every night
and he is loved by his owner in spite of being misbegotton.
