They are almost over except for New Years eve and New
Years day which we largely ignore.

I decorated the mantle but did not have the heart to put
up the tree. I was grateful for the parties and had a
good time. We have good neighbors that are a joy to celebrate with and with whom we are compatible. I will
try to entertain them soon.

It was a joy to be with my adult grandchildren and two
great grandchildren on Christmas Eve. Chandler is talking
a blue streak and I was surprised when she called me grandma because I hadn't seen her for six months and she
wasn't talking then. Ted was so captivated by her and
so was I because she smothered us with hugs and kisses.

Ted and I have been watching movies in our down time and I am so pleased to have the house put to rights and to
discontinue all that cooking for awhile.

The dogs are almost as spoiled as Jon Adam's cats. Jose
is a delight and Rex has such a sweet nature. He didn't
seem to mind that a friend gave Jose three new out fits
and Chandler stole his dog toy!
