Grocery Store Adventure
I got up early and by 6 a.m. headed out to my nearest grocery store which is two blocks from my house. They had everything because they are smart enough to limit the amount of scarce items and because they have four stores and their own warehouse.
They were full of early morning shoppers, mostly the elderly. It was a great time to go with no crowding and full shelves. Of course if you are not a morning person, it would be deadly. I had to disappoint Jose because he has extra sensory perception and always senses when a car ride is available. Walkies and a ride in the car can never be mentioned because those are his favorite things but he picks up on clues like opening the coat closet or getting your purse. Then he runs to the front door and when you say not now, he visibly wilts.
I didn't see anyone in a mask but I have made one from a bandana and hair ties but it is not comfortable. I am thinking of cutting up a bra and making two, even though the lawn mowing twins said their mom would make me one for each of us.
Good luck as we struggle to survive. I only see Julia and her dogs
and Tina. Tina brought me a piece of her art when she came to clean. She is very talented but can't find a market which is a shame. Love Jeri
