Trials and Tribulations

I have not been out of the house in two weeks. Julia has taken Jose to the groomers because his pomeranian half gives him an uncomfortable amount of hair. He was panting all the time. Julia has been walking him too while I am getting over a severe muscle spasm. she has been wonderful as has my visiting angel, Tina. Tina came to clean on Wed and brought me a casserole, chocolate chip cookies and a cherry tincture. Very much above her assigned duties. I am blessed to have them. I had a phone appointment with my doctor and it was very satisfactory. She prescribed cyclobenzedrene and I can walk without my cane. I still have some pain but it is manageable. I woke up with Jose curled around my head. I now have a dog assisted hair do and believe me it is not attractive. Spring has never looked better to me. Two of my hydrangeas are coming back up in their pots and I managed to save one ivy and one spider plant in the bathroom...it has two skylights so they get some real sun. It is lovely outside and hopefully I can work in the yard soon. I got this muscle spasm filing important papers to make it easier for Linda to manage when my expiration date occurs. Being ninety one is a challenge and I am not sure it beats the alternative but we are trying any way possible to strengthen our immune systems since we are both very vulnerable to the virus. I hope all of you are taking vitamins, zinc and being very careful.

Jeri, we are a tourist destination . One good thing, the snowbirds and winter season visitors that overwhelm us have gone home early, so the roads are clearing up. Maybe we can take a drive onto Pine Island and look at the scenery and just not get out of the car. Whooppee.

My doctor prescribed the same thing for my neck and shoulders. I just have a few left, they're great for sleep. I hope your muscles stop hurting quickly. Isn't it crazy what actions end up causing injuries? Filing papers, coughing...

I guess those repetitive chores we think nothing of can cause a lot of problems. I am better but still not well. My doctor said whatever you do, keep moving.

I'm listening to NPR right now and there is actually good news in some places: People discharged form the hospital; fewer deaths, etc. We had to cancel 4C Camp for Adults. No matter what happens with the virus, the feeling is that most older people won't want to congregate in August. The muscle spasms suck and I can't even recommend Kratom for that. Do yer best.

I have had a lot of help and I really appreciate it. We are staying in and being careful. I just read that a tiger in the zoo has covid l9.

Hanging in!! Be careful, but I suppose being on an island is safer than main land Florida now.

Wow! Sounds like you are in pain, I’m sorry to hear that.
Glad spring is springing around you! And I’m happy you are on the right side of the ground.

I suppose you are home schooling the kiddos now. Give them a hug for me.
Did Ron allow that beautiful puppy?
