We are due to have carpet installers tomorrow and the next
day so we won't have the computer back on until next Wed.
We are going to miss it a lot.

Ted and I did manage our little get a way and had a fabulous time. We had tickets to Loretta Lynn's concert
and it was wonderful. We missed the public television
presentation of Pavorotti singing with her. I bet it was a
blast because she is not polished, just warm and genuine.
She brought her twin daughters and her son with her. All of
them sing as well as she does and the duets with her son
Were so good. The harmony was incredible. However the most
fantastic thing of all was that three of her band members
sang the old English ballads, acappelo and Appalachan style.
It was the second time I had ever heard this and it transports you to an earlier time. We both loved it.
