A Delightful Surprise

I answered the door and Jeremy was standing there, lookin'
good! He is a delight to be around because he is always
cheerful and positive. This time he had news for us all.
There is to be a fourth little Brooks in about seven months. A fourth girl? They don't know yet.

Jennifer is home schooling their eldest daughter. It is a
busy time for the family.

I told him that we missed his input and he said that his
ministry and his other job kept him from being able to
post.

I am trying to organize closets and get winter clothes ready to wear. The autumn weather is delightful and I
enjoy walking Jose in the early morning.

I am having a fling with coconut oil. We are having a
tablespoon on a slice of toast and it h as done wonders
for my hair and nails. I also slather it on my face at
night. It is giving me some much needed moisture however, Ted finds it a little offputting but it smells
good.

Rex loves Jose and gives him a good slurp in the face
every now and then. They play a lot.

It's nice to hear good stuff, families growing and all. Coconut oil is the one of the very few facial moisturizers I'm not allergic to so I'm sold on it as well. I never thought of it for pets too.

I find it hard to believe that coconut oil is such an effective make up
remover, night cream and does good things when ingested. I am glad that
I started using it. I am giving it to my husband also and he says he is
feeling better.

I give two of my cats coconut oil every day. It helps with their butts and it seems to make their coats softer.

We have noticed that Jose's coat is very glossy now from Iams and coconut
oil.

Donna uses coconut oil for cooking and it's also a replacement for KY, but it's also expensive so I avoid it.

I paid 3.99 for a pint at Aldi's. I made Ted fried potatoes in it and
I couldn't help tasting them and they were super good. I haven't had
fried potatoes in years!

Kristy, imagine ages. Sofia is four and she is the eldest. They are
all very well behaved and Jennifer and Jeremy are good parents. I owe
so many friends to this blog. Jeremy was a rock when we lost Bobby.
