I am not quite ready for light jackets this early in September but nevertheless I wear one when Jose and I walk early. Fall is definitely in the air. My sister and I are already talking about Thanksgiving and I have my autumn wreaths out. I plan to get some mums today. They seem to be the essence of fall.

I missed seeing Jeramy and family at the Governor's mansion but glad that he took pictures. By the time our docents relieved us, we were anxious to eat lunch and go home. I would have loved seeing more of the goings on in the history center. They had a great band, a surrey with a fringe on top and many, many exhibits. We had been standing on our feet for four hours and our feet hurt so we were ready to go
home.

I still can't get on this blog by the usual method. I have to subscribe to Teal's post and go that way. This is irritating because my original way worked well.
