I must admit that I find the hearings distressing but I am compelled to listen anyway. Of course, I find that after years of conservative B.S.that nothing seems to get better. Currently Oklahoma has the worst possible Republican candidate for Governor and a democratic candidate who appears to be asleep at the wheel. I requested a yard sign and offered to have coffees for him and have not heard a word.
Tomorrow, we are having September fest at the History Center and the Governor's mansion. The mansion will be available for touring by any and all. My shift as docent is l0 a.m. to l2:45. I understand that there will be massive amounts of people. The mansion is homey and not at all intimidating. It has a ball room on the third floor. The History center has lovely things for sale. Last year, I got prints for my sister and my neice and hope to find some things for them this year. Linda does not share my love for Native American paintings so I doubt if I can find anything that will please her.
I have not shared with you, my friends, that at my annual physical, I found that I have atrial fibrillation and congestive heart failure. I guess they go together. My medicine is finally pretty well adjusted although I am having some difficulty with
getting rid of fluid despite massive amounts of lasix. I have few symptoms and don't feel ill. I am so grateful that this is such an easy illness to bear. I don't have to make any adjustments to my schedule.
I am loving that everyone is posting more on our new blog. Keep it up!
