We had our fathers day dinner and get together yesterday.
Linda and Sara and little l8 month old Owen and Bobby and
family came for noon dinner. I cooked all their favorite
things and had plenty of left overs to send home with them.
It isn't every day you have nine people to cook for.

Owen, my sweet red headed grandson kept us entertained. He
is adorable and full of energetic mischief. Linda, his
devoted grandmother says that he is her favorite person in
all the world. We marvel at the recessive genes that combined
to give him blue eyes and red hair.

I am having the family reunion this year and am trying to
figure out the logistics of table placement. The dining
room table only holds ten. The kids go outside on the
porch and Ellie and I each have a folding table. Fortunately
it doesn't happen until the fall of the year. We will have
two toddlers, Owen and Penelope but the older kids love to
play with them so it isn't a problem.

I am never happier than when surrounded by family. Linda
and Phillip each have four children so as they grow up and
marry, it really gets huge.
