My friends did me proud with a birthday luncheon, flowers, and a
lot of presents. Then Ted took me out to eat yesterday and for some reason every time we eat at Cheddars, the food is so good that it puts us in stuffed alligator mode and we have to have a nap. My kids also sent flowers and my daughter ordered a long black and white linen cardigan from Talbot's petite. I can't wait to get it.
One of my gifts was an activity tracker and I can't wait to get started on it. I was walking two miles every day several years ago and I need to start again.
Jose sort of hinders me because his little legs are only about two and a half inches long and he can't go fast or far. Also he is a
couch potato and quite portly so that hinders our progress. He dilly dallies around searching for messages from his dog friends,
Yesterday he made a near fatal dash across the street to scare a little white chihuahua. Ted took him out without a leash and we
will certainly not do that again.
My beloved grand daughter is coming home for a week from NYC on Sunday for a short stay. I think she has become a New Yorker for good now.
We are about to blow away today. I wanted to work in the yard but it is pretty nasty out there.
