I’ve been holding back my adjectives. But after reading more about how Trump is enriching himself by his campaign, puts his kids in every government-to-be meeting, puts his own brand of bottled water at meetings too (and more of that will surely be coming), I don’t want to anymore. This column at Salon describes this arriving presidency pretty well, from the first paragraph to the last:

I’ve been referring to Trump’s campaign and presidency as an abomination, but that apparently isn’t sufficient. How about abortion? In one of its old senses, the word means not the action or operation but a gestated thing: a horrific, misbegotten thing, a monster; something you recoil at when you see. Something that shouldn’t have come to be.
Something H.P. Lovecraft wrote plenty of stories about, and his favorite way of describing them was “unthinkable.†Because they were so awful the mind resists thinking about them.
That’s exactly how I feel about Trump. He’s so awful it’s hard to think about him at all.
Trump supporters have been so stupid? This man does not understand
the reality of an average person who is struggling just to get by and
furthermore he does not care.
