Politics

You can change the channel if you don't care to read about politics.

Now that it's been illuminated that we have traitors running the country, I wonder, first, if Robert Mueller will be investigating Erik Prince, and secondly, if he'll ask why the Obama administration didn't take action against the 2 glaring breaches of the law that occurred before the end of their administration - both Jared Kushner and Mike Flynn taking it upon themselves to meddle and attempt to covertly affect foreign policy matters with another country, without permission of the government. (Mike Flynn, as former military, was already subject to a lifetime ban against working for another country without permission, which he obviously didn't have.)

James Clapper says he "would have known about" these things, from the surveillance of the Russian ambassador. So intelligence during the Obama administration had knowledge of those Russian ambassador meetings.

Why did Sally Yates have to carry the burden and go through what she did?

You may think I'm being unfair by putting any blame on the outgoing administration, but the people in power are the people in power. They can do so much, and so much of what we're suffering now may have been -- changed, at least.

The political situation is terrible and Trump does more damage every day that he is in power. I wish that all this Russian mess could have come out before the election. It might have saved us from steadily going backward
under Trump's administration.

Since the FBI is part of law enforcement, why didn't they do more then, I wonder. And why weren't some people's security clearances blocked? Like Flynn.

Politicians do what they have to do--what they feel they must do--what they want to do--point your finger as much as you want it won't doesn't change a thing--for 8 years the Democrats blamed Trump so now for the next 4 years (at least) the Republicans will point their finger at Obama when the finger should be pointed at the voter!

I am a news hound.I don't recall one news item in the past 8 years where the Obama administration blamed Trump for anything. Show us your proof of that claim.

your being obscure ... The Democrats didn't discover Trump to blame for anything until his he started his campaign, 2015. He wasn't on anyone's radar for the 8 years of the Obama administration, unless you want to highlight his birthirism, and that was fact, and he was totally to blame for it.
's radar for the 8 years of the obama administration.

There's always been shenanigans that don't stand up to the light of day, regardless of who is in the office, and every so often they get caught and there is a scandal. No matter who is in office, I have a hard time distinguishing what really matters and what is just puffing that makes it sound worse or more unusual than it actually is. I don't read all these 'news' articles that claim the smoking gun has just been found that will definitely get Trump dumped - this sort of headline is probably carved into the pyramids, been around as long as there's been politics.

No, I haven't read about anything that means the end for Trump, that is largely dependent upon other people/institutions and their willingness to act. But his son-in-law, yes. That's why Jared's suddenly talking about leaving the White House.
