Last night, a BOOM! at the front door made me jump out of my chair. The locked front door was now wide open, just as if the police had used a battering ram on it. I ran over. The screen door -- which is misaligned and hangs open about 2 inches -- had been slammed shut, and it took several bangs on the handle and frame to get it to open.

The wind had done it. Outside, there was a whirring sound to the wind and it was flinging a fine snow down. The weather forecast had warned of "snow and wind." And a couple of inches more snow has come down. Almost nothing, compared to what friends in the county north of me get.
