Global Warming

During some random searching, I just found out that the Icelandic mountain Sneffels, where Jules Verne located his story Journey To The Center Of The Earth, has been losing so much glacial ice that as of last August you could almost climb down into the volcanic crater.

So now's my chance to really get away from it all. I'll pack up my gear, a nephew and a pet duck. Maybe a Norseman.

After last summer's goose, I'm tempted to get a goose or duck to keep us company this year. Maybe I'll go get that one back.

A newphew and a pet duck. Way to go. Sneffles is not anything I would name a mountain. I don't need to get away from it all. Give me chaos.

At least Dante had Virgil as a guide into the nether region. Perhaps a Norseman will do...

Don't you know global warming isn't real--just ask a Republican or one even better--the richest woman in Australia if not the world--Gina Rinehart--very interesting story on her in this week's New Yorker and she says there is no such thing as global warming--oh by the way she owns many mines!

So I might run into her on the way down? Speaking of descending, do you know what Satan had to do in the beginning of Paradise Lost? He had to ask for directions to Hell.
