My friend Mike is sending me a pulse oximeter so I can check my blood oxidation; and he sent me to Wyze.com to find a thermometer, since I don’t have one. There are some wonderful health gadgets around. I ordered a PhoneSoap, which will come sometime in May. It’s back-ordered.
One of my sisters (an M.D.) got herself a nice little UV-C wand to disinfect items that she has to carry around at work, like an iPad, phone, and her N95 mask. But to use it, she said, she puts on dark glasses, leather gloves and 2 layers of clothing. She said the scatter of the UVC light has to be considered. It bounces off the items you disinfect, and is going to strike you too, and not enough is known about the damage it causes when you get considerable exposure to this kind of light. Since she’s already had cancer, she prefers taking precautions.
