Hillary will be in town, speaking at Pitt tomorrow morning; Trump is nearby now, about to have a rally in the outer part of the county — closer to big crops of idiots. (Idiots live in a spotty pattern throughout the rural areas between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, avoiding most urban centers and educational institutions.) He has gone there, out to the Moon area, twice now that I know of. It would not be a good idea for him to appear in the limits of Pittsburgh again. That inevitably brings a huge protest demonstration, and police are very expensive.

Family shouldn’t canvass for Trump at liberal family members’ houses. That’s all I’ll say about that.

Except to say that this relative handed me some printed things with the names of state (right-wing) candidates running in other races, which is useful as a checklist, to make absolutely certain I don’t vote for any of these people.

None of the biggies come up here. Our "local" news is on a Binghamton station. Live debate at 7 yay! But no, Binghamton is in a different congressional district so we don't get to see our candidates.

I am extremely anxious about the outcome. My family is all Republican
except one nephew and I am not talking to them until the election is
over.

Yes, it was difficult dropping by my sister's place, surrounded by TVs blaring Trump-supporting news shows. Once it's over they will lose some of their excitement.

Trump was here in our Northern Colorado area twice in the past month, trying to show the doubters how many supporters he's got around here.

Couldn't some local goat kick him down a mountain?

50 hours and it SHOULD be over--until Trump starts suing everyone!!!!

I do wonder what he'll do first, right after. Maybe he'll do something that's more likely to get him some money/attention/leverage.

50 hours. I'm going to figure out how many of those I'll be sleeping or driving or doing other things where I won't be thinking about it, and then it will be over - or SHOULD be. Maybe there will be long, drawn out procedures designed to waste lots of taxpayer money.
