The weather down here has been nuts. It was cold enough after Thanksgiving to turn the heat on (dropped down to 50's) but is back up to the low 80's. Every few days I have to switch from heat to AC. Wish I could just leave my windows open like I used to do when I lived up north, but it is too damp down here and fighting mold is a real issue. Right before Thanksgiving, I had to wash down everything on my back porch with bleach. With those windows open, black mold was growing on the sides of furniture- anywhere it could find a surface to grow. Black mold is dangerous. Down here, they hire professionals for removing hazardous materials when black mold is found in houses.
