Sick and Tired ... .

After my endoscopy and colonoscopy, I was put on a long regimen of two different antibiotics and don't you know- I developed an allergy to one of them! If that did not make me a mess! I had to stop them both and after a three day rest, take them one at a time to learn which one. Guess that worked out, because I decided to try the Bioxin first. I had no reaction to it- just a perpetual bad taste in my mouth and chronic fatigue. An antibiotic that makes you tired? How strange is that? It is a LONG regimen too because I still have six days to go. The fatigue started after the 7th day. All of this because of a bacterial strain they found in my stomach that is common (H. pylori) and often unsymptomatic. I had no symptoms. No ulcers. No pain. Nothing. But- I am very aware of the damn antibiotic!

Through all of this I am trying to lay out another newsletter- the BIG one. This one is running close to 50 pages allready. Well, I am too tired to work long periods and just don't have the patience to edit some of the articles. I am spending far too much time tracking down caption information. What is wrong with these people? When I say tell me WHO is in the photo, WHEN and WHERE this was taken and what is the photographer's name, do they not understand??? See, I have no patience. This damn antibiotic is turning me into a witch with a capital B.

Check your recent posts. I am trying to catch up as much as possible. By the way- I miss you guys!

Thanks! Can't wait to get off these damn antibiotics! The taste in my mouth and the deneral sense of dis-ease have made me cranky. I don't like myself when I am like this.

I am so glad you are better. I thought you were just busy with the
newsletter. Good luck on the newsletter. Watch a good movie and have a
glass of wine if the antibiotic permits.

I would say this newsletter is a bear, but that describes me too right about now.

I am sorry to hear about your rough time with your health. It is never fun. I can totally understand why it would make you cranky though. I would have the same problem. I hope you feel better soon!

Like I said- I have been a witch with a capital B! Right now, I even get on my own nerves.

Certainly sorry to hear about your problems and woes. But glad you're on the mend. And here I thought it was your PC that was on the "fritz"--but it was YOU!
