Season's Greetings!

This message is for all of my friends here on MyBloggers- believers and non-believers alike! Those who do not celebrate the birth of Christ can still enjoy the good will, the great food and wonderful music! Christmas is a secular as well as a religious holiday.

Hannukah is over but Kwanza is yet to come. I had to do an article about the December holidays and was quite impressed with the seven Principles celebrated by this more recent holiday. Muslims celebrated New Year just a few days ago, and of course, believers in the 'old ways', the origins of many of our Christmas traditions, celebrate Yule time. Until I had to do research for that article, I thought Yule time was Christmas! Learn something new every day. No wonder some Christians refuse to put up trees or lights and deride these practices as pagan traditions! I don't care what the origins of Christmas traditions are. It is a wonderful time of the year, and if those traditions foster good will and concern for mankind, they are a good thing.

Season's Greetings to all of you!

P.S.: I hope the right side of my image does not get lopped off again!

Hey. I get into the spirit just like most everyone else! I even decorate! But mostly, I celebrate the Winter Solstice. The days are now getting "longer"! Hurray--Spring!

Your heart is too healthy not to celebrate something this season, and the solstice is as much of a reason as the other holidays. I am of the opinion that only very unhappy people find nothing to celebrate.

We are all friends together on this wonderful season as some celebrate
the winter solstice and some Christ's birth.

It matters not to me as long as people find something to celebrate that involves good will and expresses love for those close to us.

I think you are the one who recommended a wreath on the mailbox? I still have to work on the house. It has no straight edges, but it works. I saved it with two personalizations- one for MyBloggers and one more general for family and friends.
