Just before I went to Kentucky, I painted this. It is a park along the Hillsborough River called "Lettuce Lake". It is called that because of the profusion of lilies and other aquatic plant life that covers it, but you can surmise that from the image.
I am back to painting and loving it! Later today I am going to start the first oil for this year. Strange- I prefer oils, yet everything I've done this year is acrylic. I think I focused on acrylics because of time constraints. Acrylics are faster. I am going to paint a woman feeding birds. Pidgeons maybe?
