Hi Guys! Still Here ...

My yard is a disaster. The lawn is all weeds, and the flower beds are overgrown with weeds too! There is just so much to do that it disheartened me every time I looked at it. I finally decided to tackle one bed, one hedge at a time, and spending just a couple of hours out there every day is starting to pay off. (It is well into spring here in Florida.)
Yesterday while I was trimming one of the really overgrown hedges, I inadvertently disturbed a bird nest. The over growth had served as the cover, and unfortunately it is now exposed. I didn't know what kind of bird it was until this morning. A mocking bird! Fortunately, she has not abandoned the nest. I hope she does not!

My Explorer browser has been acting up ever since I installed and used Firefox. I have since un-installed that browser, but now, Explorer keeps locking up. Wonder how long it will take me to get the bugs out of this? I hate it when my PC does not run without glitches.

I hope you are able to cover the nest and that the mother stays with her eggs.

I dumped IE ages ago for Firefox and would never go back. I haven't had a lick of trouble, everything works better actually, but then I have a Mac. What a precious nest! I shall say a prayer that all will be well, but I hope you can find some cover for it.

Spring? What's that? Actually, I did see a bluebird couple checking out one of my houses. It's a daily battle keeping the house free of sparrow nests.

Read Teal's latest post and don't open any mail that says Mail Service Report..it is a virus. The little eggs are beautiful.

I keep putting off my flower beds as well. Will have to get to them ASAP, as it is almost time to set out flowers. I think the bird nest will probably be okay, so long as Mother is still returning to it.

I am jealous you are well into spring. ours is off to a rough start. I have done some flower bed clean up but not too much yet.

I had to remove Firefox for it did the same thing to my IE. I love hummingbirds. I don't think that she will abandon the nest as long as your scent isn't on it. I hope not anyway. My yard is a disaster also, but we have had so much rain that the ground is too wet to get the tractor on it. I have lost so many Magnolia limbs!
