Fay Missed Us

Fay missed the Tampa Bay area (fortunately for us) but we were battened down anyway just in case...
I cleaned up from the day before when I brought my paints indoors. What a job! I will definitely avoid doing that again. Next, I decided to play around with my oil pastels. I don't like how they look on paper but I read somewhere that they work well over acrylic paint, so that is what I tried. The image above is my "experiment". Came out kind of neat, so I think I will try this again!

Hmm.. just thought of something. This is actually a Still Life, isn't it? Guess I am going to have to look at my artwork again. Maybe I have more Still Lifes than I thought. But then again- probably not!

You have such talent and an eye for any kind of image!!!
I have not been playing with my water colors for awhile I had to put them away, I had too much paperwork and a JOB to find!! I am going for a 3 day NAMI convention in SF this weekend!! 100% paid for everything it is at the Marriot at the SF airport!!! Lots of folks fly in from all over the country!! I am so looking forward to all of the latest and greatest in the Wellness and Recovery movement in the Mental Health arena!! My heart has been here for a long time. It has been more than a year since I have attended a conference this far fromm Butte County!! So I am really excited.
Enjoy your weekend and keep painting ANYTHING and EVERYTHING!!!!
