Dagnabbit Still Life Done!

Ok, it will never be voted a Masterpiece, but it is a still life to complete a set of four. The only thing I really like about it is the play of warm and cool colors against each other. As I said, I made no attempt to make the background very realistic. The shading is not accurate. It serves a purpose: it is a background filled with golds, browns and purples.

Another day to wait for the storm to hit. Hate the waiting. Let it go inland further south. That means it will not grow beyond tropical storm magnitude. 60 MPH winds can still be nasty, but it is NOT a hurricane!

Glad you escaped the storm. I really like the light and shadows in your work.
