Most families seem to be a little dysfunctional. I don't believe she was
ever sexually abused and if she lied about one thing, it is not difficult
to believe she lied about everything. If my child died, I would mourn
and never get over it much less have sex and get a tatoo. She could get
a year on each count of lying to law enforcement and I hope she does.

I am appalled by her conduct after her child went missing and the weave of lies.

After I watched the O.J. mess, I swore off Court TV and haven't watched it since. I agree. The prosecutors didn't have the "smoking gun" they needed to hang Casey Anthony.

I think all sane people are. I think we all know she did it. She may not have had to answer to man, but she will have to answer to God.

I am simply appalled by her behavior AFTER Calley went missing. Casey moved out of her parent's house on the day they allege her daughter died, moved in with her boyfriend and acted as if nothing had happened???

It reminded me of the O.J. defense, when they tried to pin the "guilt" on the detectives, even though everyone knew O.J. did it. The Florida prosecutors did not have a case. No proof of cause of death, no murder weapon. Only circumstantial evidence and lots of confusing stories. After day one I got so tired of the press and TV coverage (especially on HLN) that I went back to baseball and skipped even reading about the case. I believe TV cameras should never have been allowed in the courtrooms of America. Look at all the lost work time and waste devoted to trials like this one.

This was truly sad...all of it.

I saw the verdict being read - I couldn't believe it....

Maybe it was an accidental death but her conduct after her daughter 'disappeared' made me sick.

I think I'm glad I didn't pay close attention to the whole story. I'd probably be mad she got away with murder. I'm still upset at O.J. Simpson.

I get hit with it every time I turn on the news or open my browser which is set to a local news channel.

Well I am not sure what's going on here.
Who is guilty?something screwed up.
So who is the murderer?

According to the defense, it was an accidental drowning. I know how I felt after my son died, so Casey's behavior after her daughter's death is completely beyond me!

I hoped she'd be found guilty of manslaughter, but as one of her attorneys pointed out, if there is any question or doubt as to whether she did it, the jury would have to find her not guilty. At the least she had to have been involved in some kind of coverup, and no, I don't think her parents were involved.

What galls me is that now Casey Anthony can go on with her party life (and what do you want to bet we see her on Dancing with Stars and/or on the red carpet at various future events) and her relationship with her parents and brother is destroyed. I hope they kick Casey out of the house - tell her to get a job, make her own life. See how that works out for her. Wouldn't it be horribly ironic if Cindy Anthony is tried for perjury and ends up with a heavier sentence than Casey got? After all, Casey's only official crime was the misdemeanor of lying to the police.

I feel so sorry for those grandparents for the loss of their grandchild, whom they obviously loved, and now they are out of work, possibly going to lose their home (if we can believe the media), and those sexual molestation accusations against her dad and brother are hanging out there. I'm sure most people don't believe them, but the injury has been done.

I hate to sound cold, but her family is so dysfunctional that it is difficult for me to pity any of them.
