Oh, that is sooooooo funny! Actually, it's quite a pity that the driver was as bad as that...but, hey, look at the comedy he created!
I love the two blogging sites I'm on, although I am registered with three others (only use one of them on rare occasions). I get a kick out of MySpace because I love "designing" my page...oh, I really get into a "theme thing" every time I change the look (and sound), so I change it often. I don't do any communicating on the other sites that I'm registered on like many others do, but I have left some comments and have gotten some on YouTube and imeem. I stopped using instant messenger when I reached a point of never getting off the darn thing! The sites I concentrate on (mybloggers, Blogster, and MySpace)are where I have so many friends, so I really enjoy them.
Well, of course libraries are important! The whole world awaits you in a library because every book, video, piece of artwork, recording, internet access, etc. can lead you to anything anywhere. And, there are people there to help you find what you're looking for, understand what might be confusing, educate and share knowledge and fun, and ready to do all of it with a smile. I've always found libraries to be clean and safe, so they're great to visit year round.
Good answers, AJ! Five tv's, huh? Well, if I'm ever in between tv's due to malfunction or breakage, I'll know who to borrow one from!
Nope...I think my list is so long that I just have to be selective, so I'll pass on this one.
I liked the first one, so I intend to see this one. Besides, it's no secret that I am a Cage fan, so this is another reason why it's been put on my "must see" list.
I am soooooooo jealous that you get LOGO! Oh, how I would love to be able to get that over my cable...then I wouldn't have to rely on the East Side's cinemas for a chance of seeing any gay movies.
Atta boy, AJ! Featured blogger and a candidate for a committee seat! You make me proud to be your friend! Congrats and good luck!
AJ, great post, great success, great future outlook! I'm a slacker, that's for sure, but I never let my desire to lose weight or to firm up ever get too far out of my sight. With Martin's encouragements, I did get started again and did lose some weight. I slacked a bit and, yep, you guessed it! So, I've since gone back to following Martin's advice and have lost that new gained-back weight, so now I am picking up where I should have left off. Another blogger has given me some helpful hints that are really quite easy to live with and they have been helpful in learning how to pace myself (in the eating and the exercising departments) and to replace all concepts of having dieting/exercising attitudes into a seemingly unconscious part of life. Between her and Martin, I know I can do this.
One should always set and reach for higher goals in everything, that way we work a little harder. I think your goal was (and has proven to be) a little bit more realistic, though, so good for you! Maybe the disappointment would have been a little less if the goal was set at the more realistic lower amount...you all would be saying "almost made it" instead of "we fell short".
On the historical subject of things, I would definitely want to see it. If I'm interested in a story, I don't particularly care who the actors are but am just interested who will be in the movie. As far as blood and guts and anything shocking, I would not ever seek out a movie because of these things, but I will not stay away from a story I want to see because of these things. So, would I watch it? Yes.
Work and vacation should not be in the same sentence together. Two completely different things. Whether work is being done at a workplace or any other place, it is still work...therefore, the person is still working. That is not a vacation, just a change of scenery.
You know, I might be sold on this. You have made sparked my interest so I am going to go to my "must read" list and make an entry.
Too bad I didn't know you were there! It was a lot of fun, wasn't it? It was nice to see our senator in the parade, at least he made a showing. All in all, it was a great time...it has changed and improved so much over the years. (I remember being in some of those "undesirable" parades, having obscenities yelled out to us and things even thrown at us.)
I really like this! I can see many uses, not just as a dishcloth. How cute underneath some glasses filled with an icy beverage. How cute as a little "doily" under a candy dish or some knick-knack-type thing. Little finger cloths or towels at a picnic or cookout, too. Yep, I like it!
