Good answers, I'd say! So, you have a collection of dumb purchases, too!
Aw, how cute this is! I've got to show it to my mom! I love it!
I feel like an I D 1 0 T for not knowing what I was heading for!
Just watch it...eat no-no's in controlled moderation (even bread consumption should be considered). It's ok and a good idea to be cautious, but there's no reason to treat yourself as if are a diabetic. The fact that you are not is great news!
This is so often mentioned and featured on cooking shows...the Italian shows, especially. I love the stuff and, like a lot of other yummy things, if not overused (yeah, in moderation), it is quite acceptable. In spite of the no-no's that are in it, it is still healthier than some other snack foods...but it is often used as an ingredient in some pretty creative dishes (yeah, like mostly in desserts). I love it!
What great answers! And, I think it's great that you love coffee so much! So, I do have a question...since when is knitting one of your hobbies? (Why have you kept this passion from us for so long?)
You take your time...whatever time is needed. I'll be here when you're back and ready.
I enjoyed this! I must keep reminding myself of this one, though... "Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday".
We know that "the time" comes for all of us, but there are those we really hate to see leave us. George Carlin was just so uniquely gifted in getting us to think that his brand of comedy went beyond the definition of comedy. He will be missed and I doubt many of us will forget what he gave us.
First, I hope Buddy is feeling better.
Jobs that require or often include transfers can be difficult...uprooting is not always easy and separations can mean loneliness and a longing. I say, Joan, to help face the prospect and anything that may come to fruition is to look at the bright side, although it may be harder to do than to say. Look at this as an adventure, something that can be so educational and beneficial for your granddaughters...and a great career advancement for the adults. You know how proud and pleased all of this will make you and them.
An yuh only gutten da maguhzeen cuz ya wan-ed ta read em dem thar articuls, em I cahrect?
That is great news, Joan! Sleepless nights can be a pain in the , but this CANCER FREE news is more wonderful than wonderful!
I like them all, but I love this one...A psychiatrist is a fellow who asks you a lot of expensive questions your wife asks for nothing. -- Joey Adams
I appreciate your posts focusing on some who truly are uniquely special in this often cruel world. The obstacles they must endure and overcome often do not even come close to those we face and complain about, yet they often manage to exceed all expectations others may have of them. How often we complain of having to sit through yet another recital or not having enough time to rest, and people like these often must attend numerous things or do without rest because of the other, while the other must often refrain from activities and take a nap for the sake of the other. And, quite often if not always, they do so with a smile and no complaints. That is special in my book.
Here was a man who knew exactly what journalism was and what do to with it. Whether the person sitting across from him was someone liked or disliked, the questions produced answers for listeners and watchers to "take with them" for a better understanding and for forming his or her own opinions, and I always admired that. Aside from his career, he truly was a good, honorable man who never let his career/popularity go to his head, which is another thing that is to be admired. (I think he'll be perfect in his new job as an interviewer/screener for future admissions into heaven.)
