This week has proved to be pretty much a flop. The good news is that it is because I am totally taking advantage of my last week of vacation for the fiscal year. I have been doing a lot of reading and watching TV. I have already gotten addicted to the Logo Network, and I it has been really nice getting to see my soaps (The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful) without having to tape them.

The bad news is that I was supposed to use some of the time to work on the summer reading program. I think I have mentioned some of the issues we have been having with our server at work. As a result of that, I was pretty much in a holding pattern with finalizing things for the summer reading program because I did not have access to the files related to it. They were able to get me copies of the files on put them on a stick drive. I figured I could get tons of things done over my vacation week with no distractions.

Well, a part of me decided that it would be better to just sit back and take full advantage of my vacation. In some ways that is a good thing because we all know that I really need to do a better time of relaxing. The bad news is that I will probably pay for it next week when I get back and have only 7 days to finalize everything before the summer reading program kicks off.

On a side note, it was pretty cool running across a Smurf-related graphics. It really brought back a lot of memories since I grew up with the little blue creatures!
