It is so amazing that people think in 2008 in this manner about anybody??!!
WTF is this insane woman and why is she allowed to take so much time rallying against the GLBT population!!?? Does she need to be let out of the CLOSET once in a while or what??!!!

Incredible work Dottie.....in the process of living in the moment, this produces healing energy that needs to take place deep in your soul and in your heart Dottie!!! I know what you mean about it not being 100% done to your satisfaction...I HAVE TO paint every day.... since my second evacuation I have spent many, many hours painting again with water colors and I have you to THANK DOTTIE!!!! I forgot how creative and healing my painting and embellishments added on can be!!!!!!
My g/f was shocked and was so amazed by my work, as she paints with watercolors as well and sticks to beach scences and flowers etc as she just got back from Hawaii. She said I need to sell them at the Farmers Markets here in town, I just laughed and said NO WAY, this is for me....anyhow, you helped me realize how important the PROCESS of creating in the moment work can be!!!
I thank you for helping me find that place again in my life!!! Barb

Great story and song lyrics...I would enjoy seeing a gavel, but on your hand and forearm Steve??!!
Oh well, I can not seem to recall that tune...but I have "Toot..... Toot.... Tootsie GOODBYE!!!! Replaying in my memories.... Am I close or off by a decade or two??
I uaually say I was born 10 years too late....it could of been 1952, but nooooooooo, my parents decided when I would be born.... so I missed out on the "summer of love generation"
With the 40th anniversay being this year after all, I would of LOVED being more than 6 yo in 1968!!! Sorry, but this is funny to me...my mind is going slowly...

( all about W.W. I & II)........
I do not recall learning anything, almost that this intelligent NINE year old, shared with his listening audience last night.
I hope they taped it as more of US need to hear the WEALTH of knowledge and forth rightness this incredible little person has memorized and critically evaluated so much of the US history, look for him, I will vote for him as soon as THEY let him run!!!! lolol I only caught his first name, "Justice" he will be internationally known kinda like the Cher of our time??!!! I know I know...or do you prefer Madonna, just famous people for various reasons know that name recognitions SELLS!!!!!!!!!!!

OK OK I will stop rambling...maybe I should be writing about my last 5=6 weeks with the state still burning!!!

Welcome Jane!!!!
I have lots of "Cat Tails" since I have 10 rescue cats!! Now for a dog story, we always had police german shepard dogs growing up as we lived on a chicken ranch, you can imagine the stories of all the cats Shep layed out back, I swore I would never own a cat, I hated them as much as the guard dog!!!!!

HAHAHAHA it all started with a feral mama kitty and her 4 feral kittens on my back porch one early summer morning!!!
look forward to reading more of your dog stories...

Perfect timing to read this...We are on our third day of evacuation in Chico, so happy we are not stuck with no where to go...the shelters are full...we need more bodies for everything you can imagine and then some!!!! Half of Paradise burned in the Humbolt fire 2 weeks ago..... and now the Feather river and with the up and down canyon winds!! We literally our at the mercy of mother nature!!!
I have been reading alot and listening to good music with fire updates every 30 minutes or so on the local radio staion!! Playing in my friends garden and watering EVERYTHING including BODIES, with 115 temperatures, your either soaked with sweat or WATER!!!! Toxic air quality but we are to do the best we can with what we have!! It is what it is....I will try to blog in the morning about any over night updates!!

Breathhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Laura!!

The meth cookers and addicts in Nor Cal would not even be able to hold the bike up let alone drive it for hours on a highway!! Maybe just maybe.... just out exploring the area...they may become some of your best visiters!!!???
I learned a long time ago...you cannot accurately judge a book by it's cover!!!
Check the china cabinet just in case!!!!

I have to say that game was still as funny in the 1970's, as when you did it back in the 1940's!!!
The old party line # was always fun, it was who ever could out yell the next person....kinda like the old # to call the time and date!!???
Ahhh the good old days of free telephone entertainment!!!!!

James, sorry about your luck right now!!! I am known for that wise comment in these parts.... James, it sounds like you know exactly what you need to be doing!!! How much longer do you have to earn your BSN?? You are so in the "KNOW" about politics and the BS crap that continues to happen in the world, so you may need a change of profession, sooner than later?? No matter what your path ends up being, everything you have learned from "Nursing" will compliment it!!!

I have a story, I know SHOCKING!!!!! It is different as I was a CNA at a convalescent hospital back in the 1970's, but I will always remember how we were all "looked at" and individually interviewed when 4-5 patients died over a holiday weekend!! People in their 80’s and 90’s do die, is what someone kept saying!!!!

On a rant of my own....I will always question the fact that I gave my Dad more liquid morphine than his usual dose on the day that he died at home. He trusted me to help take care of him and control his pain, but it was just not enough...it was like he was begging me to please end his life...he was more than ready to die by then...his last week with us he was not verbal, but the tears poured down his face, he was in incredible pain, both emotional and physically. The day before the hospice DON even suggested to me to stop his GI tube feedings at that point, as it was keeping him alive... but then he died peacefully that very next day and I stayed with him at home for a couple of hours as I still had things I needed to talk to him about.

Remember, it is what it is...we are human so we do make mistakes. HOWEVER, You have saved so many lives as a nurse and have given the quality of life back to others....remember this, that you gave that patient the same treatment and care you would give your own mother and you did exactly what you were taught to do in that situation!!!
"You cannot be all things to all people" a diddy I have been told recently!!!

Be kind to yourself...then you will rest!!!
