I know how much I love/need my alone time!!! Especailly this last year, since both of my daughters had moved back in!! Good news all around, Diana is moving back to Sacramento and working at UPS and taking medical classes!!! By July 21. Now Ayla on the other hand, still receives her mail here but is rarely here now adays...the peace and quiet is exactly that....peaceful and quiet!!! I have friends, that cannot yet appreciate thier solitude and I wonder how they do it???!! It is my time and I am grateful for it!! I totally get what you are saying Randy!! The reading alone is worth it!!!

The hat is so darn cute, I can't wait to show my daughter, she's dating a REAL cowboy now a days!!!!! I still remember more than 30 painted BUFFOLO on Catalina Island a few summers back!! My favorite time of the year to eat as much fresh fruits and veggies as possible, daily!!! You inspire me with the quanities you have picked and frozen!! The kids picked black cherries in May/June buckets and buckets!!! It is the first year our plum tree is loaded!!! The ADS and B*%@S+&@!..... contributed to me not having a TV in my house for the last 6+ years!!
I only listen to community radio with ZERO commercials...WWW.KZFR 90.1 on the FM dial or online.... I am lucky I could never sit long enough to watch TV let alone the ADS!!!!!!!

It looks more and more like Butte County California, Steve!!!! I guess people keep junkers in lots of places.....I have a neighbor who has lived in her house since 1950, and OMFG in 6 years I still refuse to go inside and chat, so we stand out in my yard and chat or I have her in my house!!! She was the original Crazy Cat Lady on our little deadend road in Paradise. Somehow the title is now mine!!! What....really I only have 10 cats, all SPADE and NEUTERED!!! These were all feral cats that I trapped and released after their visits to the vet!!! I have tamed 6 of them so far....they know who feeds and waters them twice a day!!! Barb

WOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Dottie!!!! It's a wonderful world filled with "GLBT" families!!!! My younger daughter is a lesbian and so I see the stigma with her and her PTSD and it makes me ROAR at times!! There are some great shows and documentaries about the life of gays!! Barb
WOWOWOWOWOWOW.....is all I can say this morning!!!!! A wonderful friend of mine can hardly BELIEVE that I am an ATHEIST!!! She'll say funny comments like...."how could that be coincidental??!!!" Both of my daughters believe in god and that is what works for them. I have even had to ask friends to please STOP sending any forwards about god this god that....thank goodness for delete!! It worries me that it is so woven into EVERYTHING!!!!! It makes me cringe when I hear political folks talking about god this god that!!?? Anyhow, friend great post and you will find a woman who will appreciate YOU and your beliefs!! Barb

DITTODITTODITTO what James said above Dottie!! You are an amazing woman and have accomplished so much!!!!! I know how mental illnesses, including PTSD can affect different people. My youngest daughter who works at UPS in Sacramento, is on medical leave currently, for her PTSD and flashbacks!!!! So we know it is a debilitating, and we do the BEST we can daily.....Do try to take extra special care of yourself Dottie and be kind to yourself as well....you are grieving the loss of much more than a son!! We have more than 600 fires in Northern California so I am home for a few days, unless we get evacuated again!!! love sent your way.... Barb
